It seems like the Arrow stunt team may have perfected cloning. Today Stunt Co-ordinator JJ Makaro & Fight Co-ordinator James Bamford announced that the Arrow stunt team will be responsible for the wicked action on the CW’s new series The Tomorrow People, in addition to the kick ass action each week on Season 2 of Arrow.
The Tomorrow People, a reboot of the 1970s British sci-fi series stars Robbie Amell, cousin of Arrow star Stephen, in the role of Stephen Jameson. While I’m thinking of it, stuntman Jon Kralt would make an awesome stunt double for Robbie, don’t you think?

Anyhoo I digress…. a trailer for The Tomorrow People was recently posted online. So Wednesday = Double Amell + Double KickAss and no fan is complaining.
A summary of the new series on the CW site describes the “Tomorrow People” as:
The next evolutionary leap of mankind, a generation of humans born with paranormal abilities — the Tomorrow People. Stephen Jameson stands at the crossroads between the world we know and the shifting world of the future. Up until a year ago, Stephen was a “normal” teenager — until he began hearing voices and teleporting in his sleep, never knowing where he might wake up. Now, Stephen’s issues have gone far beyond the usual teenage angst, and he is beginning to question his sanity. In desperation, Stephen decides to listen to one of the voices in his head, and it leads him to his first encounter with the Tomorrow People — John, Cara and Russell — a genetically advanced race with the abilities of telekinesis, teleportation and telepathic communication.
BamBam has tweeted that The Tomorrow People will have “different yet cool fights”:
The rumour is true….We will be creating stunt havoc over on The Tomorrow People Season 1 as well as #Arrow! Different yet cool fights!

The Tomorrow People begins filming July 17 at the North Shore Studios (Source: Teamsters Vancouver Production List June 25), one week after production starts on Arrow which is filmed at Vancouver Film Studio.

James tweeted today that the crew are having the first concept meeting for Episode 201 of Arrow tomorrow. He described the episode as “freaking HUGE”! After the explosive finale to Season 1 fans can’t wait to see how the talented team plan to push the high standards they’ve set. Stephen Amell has already been posting videos of his Parkour training sessions on Facebook. In addition Colton Haynes has posted several photos of his training sessions. Both look in incredible shape and I can’t wait for Season 2 to begin!
