An end of an era as Stunts Canada names a new President

Stunts Canada just announced on Twitter that Stunt Performer Marny Eng will be the new President of Stunts Canada for 2015.

Marny is a two-time Taurus World Stunt Award nominee for Best Fight (2001, 2008) and has co-ordinated action on The Chronicles of Riddick, This Means War, The Death of Charlie St. Cloud and the Human Target pilot. She doubled Ellen Page on Inception and XMen: The Last Stand.

James Bamford has done an incredible job in his 3 terms of service as President. During his service Stunts Canada formed an Alex Green scholarship for the local film school, supported the Virtue Foundation with a successful Snowball, ran an annual blood drive, and raised the profile of the organisation internationally to those outside the stunt industry. Stunts Canada merchandise are a prized possession amongst fans who appreciate the work the members do.
