RIP Tony Morelli

Stunts Canada shared some sad news today of the passing of member of 30 years, Tony Morelli. Tony had an impressive career of stunt work. I remember him from behind the scenes of The X-Files, of which he was Stunt Co-ordinator for 3 seasons and worked with James as well as on The X-Files film I Want To Believe. Tony also worked in Stunts on Arrow and Smallville as well as X-Men: Last Stand, Cabin in the Woods and Rise of The Planet of The Apes. His Stunts Canada profile listed him as the World Cruiser Weight Full Contact Karate Champion from 1980-1983.

My thoughts are with Tony’s family, friends and everyone at Stunts Canada. He left a great legacy through his work and all of the people whose lives he touched. Rest in Peace.

Memorial details will be shared by Stunts Canada via Facebook.

UPDATE: Stunts Canada posted on Facebook details of the date/time/location of the memorial.
