James was a guest on the Afterbuzz TV Arrow Aftershow today and shared the news that he will be directing in Season 5. James has had an impressive debut, with his episodes receiving both critical and fan praise for inventive capture of action and team moments. Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance) says James has given him some of the best acting notes this season and James was nominated for a Leo for Best Direction for Brotherhood.
James also discussed working with Stephen and John, as well as Katie’s commitment to building muscle for the Black Canary role. He shared the things he considers when selecting the weapons each character chooses.
