Flashback Friday: Bam on Mortal Kombat Legacy

Arrow’s Supervising Stunt Co-ordinator James Bamford sent me down memory lane when he shared a photo of current Director Kevin Tancharoen.

Kevin has directed Fame, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow but you may remember a web series from a few years ago called “Mortal Kombat Legacy” which he developed in association with Todd and Aaron Helbing. Kevin also directed the series and was one of the writers. Adapted from the fictional universe of the video game, MKL debuted via Machinima in April 2011. 


James played the role of one of two suited thugs, the opponents in a fight to the death with Cyrax and Sektor, ninja assassins who undergo automation to become cybernetic warriors in Episode 9. The fight sequence was brilliantly choreographed by Larnell Stovall. Check out James’ incredible work:
