One of the most ambitious, action-heavy episodes of Arrow to date was recognised with a Leo Award to Eli Zagoudakis and Jeffrey Robinson for Best Stunt Co-ordination for The Slabside Redemption, directed by James Bamford.
Amidst rioting inmates and with Ricardo Diaz targeting him for death, Oliver must protect the guards and defeat Diaz in an epic showdown, using only the resources around him.
The episode was brutal and intense and used all levels of the set. It featured a combination of high falls and burns, explosions, hand-to-hand combat and athletic leaps. In one scene Oliver used a soda can in a pillowcase as an effective weapon.
